Army today sent a group of 22 students of remote border areas of Poonch district on a 10-day long educational-cum-motivational tour under "Operation Sadbhavana".
The tour, organised by Poonch Brigade, was flagged off by General Officer Commanding (GOC), Ace of Spades Division from Poonch today, defence spokesman said here.
The student will interact with the other students and Professors at GGM Science College at Jammu and also visit various places of educational and historical importance in Ajmer and Fatehpur Sikri.
The aim of the tour is to showcase the development taking place in other parts of the country to the youth and also provide them an opportunity to visit important places of interest and interact with eminent personalities, thereby widening their horizon, the spokesman said.
