Glenn Maxwell was batting on 46 off 23 balls while Marcus Stoinis smashed 31 off 15 balls in an unbroken 78-run stand for the fourth wicket.
Earlier, Chris Lynn had raced away to 27 off 24 balls and added 40 for the secpnd wicket with Aaron Finch (27 off 24 balls).
Kuldeep Yadav picked up 2 for 24 in 4 overs while Khaleel Ahmed picked up the other wicket. Krunal Pandya was hit for 54 in 4 overs inclding six sixes.
