Avnish Anand joins MyRefers as co-founder,Chief Product Off

Referral network MyRefers today said it has appointed Avnish Anand as a Co-founder and Chief Product Officer.

In this role, Avnish would lead the product management, marketing and business intelligence functions.

"MyRefers is a young organisation and we seem to be shaping up quite well," Lalit Bhagia, Founder & Chief Executive Officer, MyRefers said adding that as a co-founder Anand would take on a broad set of responsibilities to help achieve necessary business results for MyRefers. PTI DRR

Naaptol.Com ties up with MobiKwik

* Naaptol, home shopping company today said it has partnerd with mobile wallet MobiKwik.

"The MobiKwik wallet will greatly augment consumer experience while people shop on Naaptol as they would not have to navigate through payment gateways and online banking options," the company said in a statement.

The payment will be processed with a single click in the most secure manner backed by stringent security techniques, it added.

Riva launches Flock, a free chat app for businesses * Riva.Co, a startup in the communication space today launched a new application, Flock.Co, which is a free messaging application for workplace communications.

Created specifically for fast moving teams and organisations, Flock.Co does not require any IT admins to set up and provides the fastest and easiest way for teams to connect and communicate with each other across all platforms and operating systems, the company said in a statement.

Flock.Co is free for unlimited users and usage and is available for ios, Android, Windows PC, Mac and Linux.

Snapdeal and NIESBUD enter into a strategic partnership * Snapdeal.Com today announced a partnership with The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD).

NIESBUD, is an apex organisation of Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises engaged in training, consultancy, and research to promote entrepreneurial cuture along with competency building using skill development and upskilling initiatives.

In this endeavor for capacity building, approximately 500 enterprises will be up skilled every month, the company said in a statement.

Snapdeal will also promote various NIESBUD training programmes to its seller's base and offer special packages for NIESBUD trained MSMEs to become potential sellers on the website.
