Uttar Pradesh Minister Mohd Azam Khan has demanded that the Centre set up a panel to probe the activities of controversial Islamic preacher Zakir Naik.

"The central government should form a panel to probe Naik's activities and action should be taken against him if he is found embroiled in anti-national acts," Khan said at Syana last evening.

Naik's speeches has come under scrutiny after it was reported that those inspired some of the Dhaka attackers.

Meanwhile, ruling out electoral alliance with Ajit Singh led Rashtriya Lok Dal in the coming assembly polls, Khan said, "Samajwadi Party have no seat left in Rajya Sabha to give".
