Badal approves Rs 10.5 cr proposals for works on memorials

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today approved Rs 10.5 crore to complete the project of erecting memorials in the state.

A decision to this effect was taken by Badal at a high level review meeting of the Cultural Affairs Department here, an official spokesman said.

Badal said paucity of funds would not be allowed to hamper the progress of these projects.

He directed the department to plan light and sound shows at all memorials to attract public.
