Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal was admitted to a local hospital after he complained of uneasiness in the chest.
Dr Sukhwinder Sukhi, incharge of SAD's Banga-Halqa area and himself a medical practitioner, said the 88-year-old CM suffered from chest spasm after he had just concluded the Sangat Darshan at village Behloor Kalan at around 6.10 pm.
He was given nebulizer at the private hospital and his condition was said to be stable.

Badal was discharged from the hospital after the check-up, Dr Sukhi said.
He will be shifted to Chandigarh and is likely to be kept under observation for a day or so there, said Dr Sukhi who was present in the hospital along with other senior SAD leaders when PTI talked to him.
According to Dr Sukhi, there is nothing to be alarmed about the condition of Badal. Sources said the CM was having fever since morning.
