A biker was killed and another person injured in a road accident today on Jammu-Pathankote highway here, police said today.
Police said the accident occurred when a bike was hit by another vehicle on the highway at Kaluchak belt in the outskirts of the city, Deputy Superintendent of Police, PCR said.
The biker was killed and another person injured in the accident. The deceased has been identified as Ashish Sharma, police said.
The injured person has been shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) here for treatment, he added.
