Bill, Hillary Clinton musical to make New York stage premiere

'Clinton: The Musical' is all set to make its New York stage premiere as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival.

The musical follows "two Bill Clintons" and Hillary on a quest to save their presidency, change the nation and prove that "politics is show business for ugly people", reported Variety online.

The show, with music and lyrics by Paul Hodge, runs from July 18-25 at the Pershing Square Signature Center.

It premiered at the 2012 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where it was nominated for best new musical, and played at London's King's Head Theatre the following year.
