A BJP legislator in Bihar was today suspended from Legislative Council for disobeying the Chair and creating obstruction in the proceeding of the House.
The MLC's suspension was later revoked in the post-lunch session following intervention of Leader of Opposition Sushil Kumar Modi and others.
BJP MLC Lal Babu Prasad attracted wrath of Chairperson Awdesh Narayan Singh in the Council and was suspended from the House for creating disturbance in the running of the House ignoring the order of the chair.

As the House sat for the day, the MLC pressed for his adjournment notice on Bihar government order to increase 1 per cent VAT on 600 items.
Chairperson Awdesh Narayan Singh asked him to resume seat. But, the member defied Chair's order not to speak without permission and again raised his adjournment notice during Zero Hour.
The Chair strongly asked him not to create disturbance otherwise he would invite action.
The member defied and tropped to the Well of the House and started raising anti-government slogans. The Chairperson adjourned the House till lunch and ordered suspension of the member in the post-lunch session.
However, following intervention of Sushil Modi, his suspension was taken back.
