BJP MLA attacked with chili powder in UP

BJP MLA Kapil Dev Agarwal sustained eye injuries today after three youths threw red chili powder on him while was meeting people at his office, police said.

Agarwal was attacked by Kapil Kumar and two unidentified persons. They have been charged with attempt to murder, said SP (Crime) Pradeep Gupta.

The youths barged into the MLA's room and threw chili powder on him. The victim has been hospitalised, the SP (Crime) added.
