BKU to hold stir in Delhi against land ordinance

The Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) has announced that it would stage a demonstration in Delhi on March 18 against the Land Acquisition Ordinance brought in by the Centre.
Talking to reporters at the BKU headquarters at Sisoli, its president Naresh Tikait said they would hold the stir at Jantar Mantar in Delhi against the Ordinance, which he slammed as being anti-farmer.
He also appealed to farmers to fight unitedly against the anti-farmer measure and called for its withdrawal.
