Blackbuck found dead in Odisha

A blakbuck was found dead near Kotinada, on the outskirts of Aska in Odisha's Ganjam district, yesterday, official sources said today.

Forest officers suspect the eight-year-old animal died a natural death since there was no injury mark on its body, they said.

This was the first blackbuck death in

Aska-Balipadara-Bhetanai area in 2015, while seven animals had died the previous year, they added.
