"Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively is shutting down her lifestyle and clothing website, Preserve.Us.
The 28-year-old actress and wife of Ryan Reynolds announced the news during a recent interview, saying she is planning on rebranding and the relaunching the site, reported Vogue magazine.
"We have an incredible team of people who do beautiful work, but we launched the site before it was ready, and it never caught up to its original mission: It's not making a difference in people's lives, whether superficially or in a meaningful way," Lively revealed.

Lively, following in the footsteps of such celebrities cum web entrepreneurs as Gwyneth Paltrow, launched Preserve.Us in July 2014.
The website was intended to connect discerning customers with manufacturers of one-of-a-kind and artisan products. It also featured original content including lifestyle videos, some of which featured Lively.
From day one, the website and Lively's role within the company was heavily scrutinised by the media.
The site will close on October 9 and a closure sale is now on.
However, Lively has plans to revamp the site and ensure it remains true to her original idea of preserving a lifestyle which includes traditional and artisan crafts.
