BoB appoints Manoj Piplani as MD of Bobcards

Piplani, has previously worked with Barclays Bank in London as Managing Director of UK Cards

State-owned Bank of Baroda (BoB) on Thursday said it has appointed Manoj Piplani as Managing Director of its card and payment business arm Bobcards.

Piplani, who has over 20 years experience, worked with Barclays Bank in London as Managing Director of UK Cards, BoB said in a statement.

Given the thrust to increase cashless payments, the bank is looking at strengthening presence in the cards and payments space to provide a seamless digital experience to customers, it said.
