Bomb found on road, diffused

Janakdhari road under Danapur police station area here and promptly diffused by the bomb disposal squad.

Police said locals found the bomb attached to a timer device lying on the road near a residence-cum-shop of a trader and informed the police.

The bomb disposal squad was informed and its personnel diffused the explosive.

Investigation is on to find out who planted the bomb and their motive behind it, the police added.
