Boy kills father for misbehaving with daughter

A 20-year-old youth killed his father as he allegedly misbehaved with daughter here, police said today.

While the mother of the siblings had gone to her native place in Madhya Pradesh, their father, Hanumant Totaram More (55) allegedly misbehaved with his teenaged daughter yesterday at their house in Durga Nagar locality under Panchvati area of the city.

Enraged over his father's behaviour, his son Mayur Hanumant More, a second year student of veterinary science, injected him with a poisonous substance and then strangulated him with a 'dupatta'.

Mayur also hit on his father's head with a hammer following which he collapsed, police said.
 

The accused then surrendered himself to police following which he was arrested and a murder case was registered against him, they added.
