Bridge part washes away due to heavy rains in Thane district

A portion of a bridge on Shahi river in the district was washed away due to heavy rains, posing commuting problems to villagers.

The portion between Shirosi and Dadare villages washed away on Wednesday, said Shahapur Tehsildar Avinash Koshti.

He said villagers are finding it difficult to travel due to lack of access road, following the incident.
