Two brothers, who were allegedly involved in a group clash case, were today hacked to death by a ten-member gang when they were on way to a local police station to fulfil bail conditions, police said.
According to police there was a clash between two groups led by Palanisamy and Murugesan.Police had registered a case against members of both the groups as they indulged in violence and exchanged blows at Singilipatti,and arrested some persons from both the groups, police said.
G.Kani and G.Kumar were released on conditional bail and when they were on way to the Puliangudi Police station, they were waylaid by the gang and hacked to death at Chidambaramseri about 10 km from the station,police said.
