The police today seized 250 gram of brown sugar and as much opium from an abandoned car in Hazaribagh town.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Arvind Kumar Singh said the drugs were found in the car near a national bank at Kallu Chowk locality.
The occupants of the four-wheeler parked it there at around 10 AM but did not return.
Local people informed the police about it and the drugs were found in two packets inside the car, he said.
