BSF recover Rs 14.90 lakh fake currency

The BSF today recovered fake currencies, having the face value of Rs 14.90 lakh, from Kaliachak area in Malda district along Indo-Bangla border.
Additional Superintendent of Police Avisek Modi said the border guards seized a packet from a man containing counterfeit currencies.
The fake notes were having denomination of Rs 500,= and Rs 1000.
The currencies were deposited to the police station by BSF and the courier being interrogated.
