Budget session of Himachal Assembly to commence on March 1

The budget session of Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha would start on March 1 with address by Governor Acharya Devvrat on the opening day.

The 38-day long session would have 21 sittings, including two private member's days, would conclude on April 7.

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, who also holds the finance portfolio, would presenthis fifth budget of present tenure on March10.

However, it would be the 20th budget ofthe six-time CM Virbhadra Singh.
