Bus overturns in UP, 12 passengers injured

An Uttar Pradesh Roadways bus overturned today in the Gauribazar area here, injuring around 12 passengers, police said today.

The condition of six of them is said to be critical, the officer in charge of the Gauribazar police station, JP Singh Yadav said.

The driver and conductor of the bus are absconding, he said.

After the accident, the passengers were pulled out of the vehicle by the locals.

The injured passengers have been admitted to the district hospital, police said.
