The Union Cabinet today approved an agreement between India and the Moroccan National Railways Office (ONCF) for developing long-term cooperation and partnership in the rail sector, the railways said in a statement.
The Cooperation Agreement was signed on December 14, 2017.
The agreement will enable technical cooperation in training and staff development, expert missions, exchange of experience, experts and personnel and mutual technical assistance.

The Ministry of Railways has over the years signed MoUs for technical cooperation in the rail sector with various foreign governments and their railways.
The identified areas of cooperation include high-speed corridors, speed raising of existing routes, development of world class stations, heavy haul operations and modernisation of rail infrastructure and other areas.
