Five persons were killed when their car rammed into a truck near Aasanda village under Mandhothi Police Post here, police said today.
The incident took place around 10 PM last night when five friends were going to attend a wedding function in Chhara village under Bahadurgarh sub-division in the car.
As they reached near a government school of Aasanda village, their car rammed into the truck which was ahead, they said.
Four of the five occupants died at the spot, while another succumbed to his injuries on the way of PGIMS in Rohtak.
"We have booked the truck driver on the charges of rash and negligent driving," police said, adding that among the victims, two each were from Barhana and Sohti villages, while the fifth one belonged to Kharkara village.
