Cardamom futures down 0.32% on easing demand

Cardamom prices fell by 0.32 per cent to Rs 1,390 per kg in futures trade today as speculators trimmed positions amid fall in spot demand.
Besides, ample stocks position on increased arrivals from producing regions also put pressure.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in April month eased by Rs 4.40, or 0.32 per cent to Rs 1,390 per kg in business turnover of 10 lots.
Market analysts said offloading of positions by traders on the back of easing demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position mainly influenced cardamom prices at futures trade.
