Case against SP activist for attempting to murder

A case has been registered against SP activist Mohd. Salman for allegedly attempting to murder and demanding extortion money from a man, police said today.

The case was lodged after the man identified as Shehzad lodged a complaint alleging that he was beaten up by Salman, SHO Bhanu Partap Singh said.

Shehzad also alleged that Salman demanded extortion money from him.

Salman has also lodged a cross case against Shehzad that he had also hit him.

Police are investigating the matter.
