Cash management company employees arrested for loot of ATMs

Police today claimed to have solved cases of loot of three ATMs last month in the city with the arrest of three employees of a cash management company and recovery of Rs 24 lakh of stolen money from them.

SP (City) Pradeep Gupta said three employees of the cash management company - Vipin, Manish and Atul Kumar - were arrested yesterday.

Three vehicles purchased from the stolen money were seized from them and Rs 24 lakh cash was also recovered, he said.

More than Rs 62 lakh cash was stolen from three ATMs - two of HDFC bank and one of Axis Bank - in the city on September 25.
 

Police have registered a case in this connection and are further investigating the matter.
