CBI arrests cantonment accountant

CBI today arrested an accountant of Garhi cantonment board in Dehradun for allegedly receiving a bribe for clearing pension papers of a retired employee.

CBI sources said here that accountant Mainpal has been arrested for allegedly receiving bribe of Rs 5000 from a complainant.

The sources said he had allegedly demanded Rs 20,000 for processing the pension papers of complainant's father who retired from the board in June, 2014.
