Centre's special envoy on Kashmir Dineshwar Sharma today called on Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and apprised her about his recent interactions in the state.
Sharma was appointed as the Centre's special representative last year to hold talks with all stakeholders in an effort to find lasting peace in Kashmir.
An official spokesman said the centre's representative had arrived here on April 13. He later visited Kashmir and held wide range of discussions with a cross section of the society.
Sharma called on the chief minister and apprised her about his interactions with people from different areas of the state, the spokesman added.
