Centre should disapprove of US move vis-a-vis Palestine: CPI

The CPI(M) today accused the US of legalising the illegal occupation of Palestine's territories by and demanded that the Centre strongly disapprove of the decision.

The CPI(M) politburo condemned the decision of US President Donald Trump to recognise as the capital of and shift the there from Tel Aviv.

The party demanded that the "Modi government should come out strongly, disapproving of the US action, as it goes against India's long-standing commitment to the Palestinian cause".
