CM announces Rs 3 lakh relief to families of 21 persons

Tamil Nadu government today announced a total relief of Rs 63 lakh to the families of 21 persons who died in various incidents.

Chief Minister K Palaniswami directed that a sum of Rs three lakh each be paid to the families from the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund.

He expressed his sympathies with the families of the deceased.

Those who died included policemen and Fire and Rescue Services personnel, besides individuals killed in electrocution in different parts of the state.
