Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today asked officials to study Hyderabad's present and future drinking water requirements in order to plan the city's water supply.
He said that water supply should be made keeping in view the present and future requirements of the city's population, according to a release issued here by the CM's office.
Rao, who held a review on Hyderabad's drinking water supply, also directed officials to prepare plans to divert water from Krishna and Godavari rivers.
