Sikar was today recorded as the coldest place in Rajasthan with a minimum of 6 degrees Celsius followed by Sriganganagar at 6.4 degrees Celsius.
Churu, Alwar, Pilani, Ajmer, Jaipur and Kota recorded minimum of 7.3, 8.4, 8.8, 10.8 and 12 degrees Celsius respectively while Barmer and Jaisalmer recorded night temperature of 12.8 and 14 degrees Celsius respectively, according to MeT department here.
Due to dense fog in the north region, railway has rescheduled Jodhpur-Varanasi express while eight other trains, including Varanasi-Jodhpur, Jammutawi-Ajmer and Howrah- Sriganganagar trains are running late, according to an North Western Railway (NWR) spokesperson.
