Colgate-Palmolive India today said its board has approved the renewal of royalty agreement with its holding firm Colgate-Palmolive Co, USA for a period of five years.
The board of directors of the company in a meeting held today approved the renewal of the agreement "substantially on the same terms and conditions as that of the previous one," Colgate-Palmolive India said in a BSE filing.
Consequently, royalty will be paid to the holding company for usage of its know-how and intellectual property, it added.

DHFL Pramerica MF launches 4 fixed duration funds * DHFL Pramerica Assets Managers has launched four funds, that will invest primarily in non-convertible debentures (NCDs).
The fund -- DHFL Pramerica Fixed Duration Fund -- Series 30, 31, 32 and 33 mature in the range of 1,099 to 2,464 days.
The NFOs (new fund offers)in the series are open between August 5- 22, the company said in a statement.

HDFC customers can now buy Cibil scores on its website * Credit information company Credit Information Bureau of India Ltd today said customers of HDFC can now purchase their Cibil score and reports from the mortgage lender's website.
HDFC has implemented the Cibil Consumer Connect solution which will allow its customers to purchase their credit score, Credit Information Bureau of India Ltd (Cibil) said in a statement today.
"Given that the Cibil score and report is important in our decision to lend, creating awareness and providing quick access to their own Cibil score on our website is a step in that direction. Regular monitoring of one's Cibil score will help ensure that there are no surprises when one applies for a loan at HDFC," HDFC managing director Renu Karnad said in Mumbai.
Satish Pillai, MD and CEO, Cibil said, "Cibil Consumer Connect is a unique solution that can help credit institutions in propagating awareness and financial literacy on credit management.
Hindustan Zinc bags green award
* Taking cognizance of green initiatives by Hindustan Zinc, CII-Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) awarded Platinum rating to the Company.
The facilitation was done in a ceremony today onm at Yashad Bhawan- Hindustan Zinc's Head Office-Udaipur, the company said in a statement.
The award has been constituted by CII-IGBC and the Platinum rating is the highest rating which has been given to the Registered office of Hindustan Zinc at Udaipur popularly known as Yashad (Zinc) Bhawan.
Hindustan Zinc is one of the few CII-IGBC Platinum rated buildings in India, the first Company in Rajasthan and also setting the benchmark across other Vedanta companies in India.

Cochin Shipyard lanuches double ended RoRo Ferry * Cochin Shipyard today launched the second double ended RoRo Ferry.
The vessel is the second of the series of the double ended Roll-on Roll-off (RoRo) ferry project undertaken by Cochin Shipyard, following the demand for a safer and reliable alternative for traditional 'Jangars' across the busy shipping channel between Fort Kochi &Vypeen, the two major islands in Ernakulam, the company said in a statement.

Global trade enabler DP World, which operates the Chennai Container Terminal, created history by hosting the deep draft vessel to have docked at the Chennai port.
With a draft of 14.6 metre the terminal successfully hosted the M V CMA CGM Bellini on January 7, a statement said.
