Cong uproar in Raj assembly demanding action against BJP MLAs

The Budget session of Rajasthan Assembly began today on a stormy note with by Congress legislators demanding action against two BJP MLAs for their alleged derogatory remarks against Rahul Gandhi.

As soon as the House assembled for the day, the Opposition Congress members stormed into the well of the House and shouted slogans against BJP MLAs Kailash Choudhary and Gyan Dev Ahuja, during Governor Kalyan Singh's address.

The House was adjourned for half an hour, as per the listed scheduled after the Governor left.

When the House reassembled, a copy of the Governor's speech and two ordinances were tabled. It was followed by obituary remarks.
 

The House paid condolences to former Nepal President Sushil Koirala, former Lok Sabha President Balram Jakhar, former governors of states OP Mehra, Syed Ahmed, KV Krishna Rao, JFR Jaicob, V Ramarao and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.

Tributes were also paid to former MPs Birbal Ram, Prabulal Rawat, former MLAs Mahir Azad, Jiyalal Banshiwal, Champalal Banthiya, Ramkaran Singh, Gurusharan Chhabra, Suresh Kumar, Abdul Jabbar and victims of Siachen avalanche and Pathankot and Pampore terror attack.
