Congress castigates MP govt for rising number of rape cases

Quoting figures, state Congress President Kantilal Bhuria said that on an average nine rapes take place daily in Madhya Pradesh and the state topped the list in terms of number of rapes since 2004.
Bhuria criticised the BJP government in the state for not doing anything despite the rising number of rapes.
The State Congress chief said that his party would organise torch processions and dharnas in Bhopal and various district headquarters on December 24 and 26 to highlight the BJP government's failure in this matter.
