A police head constable and a middleman were today arrested for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000, an official said.
Head constable Mahesh Kumar had demanded the bribe from a woman for taking action on her complaint related with domestic violence, Additional Superintendent of Police ACB Prithviraj said.
He had demanded the bribe through middleman Pawan Kumar, the official said.

After verification of the complaint filed by the woman against the two, a trap was laid and both were caught accepting bribe, Prithviraj said.
Both the accused have been arrested and the matter is under investigation, he added.
