Coriander futures fall on muted demand

Coriander prices on Wednesday plunged by Rs 101 to Rs 6,831 per quintal in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions amid sluggish demand at spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, coriander contracts for April slumped by Rs 101, or 1.46 per cent, to Rs 6,831 per quintal in 9,540 lots.
Market analysts said subdued demand in spot market mainly led to decline in coriander prices in futures trade.
