The Confederation of Service Associations of Arunachal Pradesh (CoSAAP) today appealed to the law enforcing authorities to provide round-the-clock security arrangement in government offices immediately.
The confederation alleged that there has been mounting pressure on officers, especially Finance and Accounts officers and drawing and disbursing officers by some supply work seekers during the month of March thereby disturbing the smooth functioning of office work, a statement said.
It also appealed to political parties, contesting candidates and polling agents not to harass the employees engaged in the election duties.

At the same time, it urged those employees engaged in poll duties to maintain utmost neutrality while performing their duties for smooth and fair conduct of election.
Meanwhile, the CoSAAP lamented that the state government could have released the 10 per cent DA arrear from January this year for the state government employees before enforcement of 'Model Code of Conduct' as done by the Centre for central government employees.
