Court orders Har police to produce main accused in Akhil Gupta murder case

A court here today directed the Haryana Police to produce the main accused in the Akhil Gupta murder case on September 21.

Gupta was a prime witness in the rape case against self- styled godman Asaram Bapu.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Gopal Tiwari has asked the Haryana Police to produce Kartik Haldar in court on September 21.

According to prosecutor D Sharma, the accused is lodged in a Panipat jail. Gupta was shot dead in Muzaffarnagar in January 2015.
