Criminals fire at police outpost in Mathura

Three criminals allegedly fired indiscriminately at a police outpost in Krishna Nagar area here, police said today.

"The criminals have been identified as murder and dacoity accused Lokesh, Jagram and their accomplice Bhupender," Deputy SP Anil Yadav said.

The incharge of the post had a narrow escape in the firing yesterday, said Yadav, adding that a hunt had been launched to nab them, he said.

The criminals fled before police could start counter fire, he added.
