Criminals loot Rs 25 lakh cash and jewellary from household

Armed criminals today looted Rs 25 lakh cash, besides jewellary worth Rs one lakh from one Pappu Singh's house in ward number six under Sadar police station area in Bihar's Madhepura district, a police officer said.

The criminal's barged into Singh's house and looted Rs 25 lakh cash and jewellary worth Rs one lakh from the family members at gun point before making a hasty escape, the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Kailash Prasad said.

A probe has been ordered in the case, he said.
