Dasuya constituency bypoll on July 11

Announcing the schedule, the state election commission said the notification regarding the bypoll will be issued tomorrow.

The seat fell vacant following the demise of BJP MLA Amarjit Singh Sahi on June 3.

The last date for nominations is June 23 whereas scrutiny will take place on June 25.

The last date for withdrawal of candidature is June 27 and the polling will be held on July 11.

Counting of votes will take place on July 14, the commission said.
