DD to launch 5 new shows

Aimimg to attract more eyeballs, national broadcaster Doordarshan will launch five new shows in the coming days.

A documentary series titled 'Nadiyaan Gaati Hain' would begin from tomorrow. The 13-part series delves into the realms of history, mythology and culture to bring out information about the six significant rivers of Madhya Pradesh--Narmada, Betwa, Shipra, Tapti, Chambal and Sone, an official statement said.

The new season of dance based programme 'Bharat Ki Shaan: Let's dance' begins from Saturday, June 7, while an environment-based programme 'Earth Matters' would be telecast on Sundays beginning from June 8.

Another programme 'Gaon Connection' would begin from June 9 while a religious travel guide-based show 'Yatra' would begin from June 11, the statement said.
