A Delhi Police inspector of the Special Cell and his woman acquaintance were found dead today in mysterious circumstances.
The bodies of inspector Badrish Dutt, posted at Special Cell, and Geeta Sharma were found in a flat at R D City colony, Gurgaon Police Commissioner Alok Mittal said.
Both the bodies bore gun shot wounds, he said.
Prima facie, it seems that Dutt fired at Sharma and then committed suicide, the Police Commissioner said.
Police is looking into the cause of the incident.
