Stressing the importance of higher education of girls, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today said her government will continue to strive hard for meeting the aspirations of female students.
At the same time, Dikshit underlined the importance of skill development and said skilled women can contribute substantially to the economic development of the country.
"Government is focusing on higher education of girls in the capital city. Our government would continue to strive hard to fulfil the aspirations of girl students," she said.

Dikshit was inaugurating the new building and girl's hostel of Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences or Women at Vasundhra Enclave here.
She said the government has established an exclusive university for women in the field of engineering and technology. The Indira Gandhi Women Technical University has been providing opportunity to girls to move forward and bring laurels for the country, she said.
