A suspected drug peddler has been arrested after three kilograms of poppy straw was allegedly recovered from him in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.
Acting on specific information, police intercepted one person at Serli check post in Katra belt of Reasi district yesterday and recovered three kgs of poppy straw from him.
The drug peddler, identified as Faji, has been arrested and a case under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act was registered against him, police said.
