Drunk brothers stab cop

Two brothers, who were in

inebriated condition, allegedly stabbed a police constable in south Delhi, police said today.

Dinesh Kumar (21) and Yogesh Kumar (23) were sitting in a park in Masjid Moth area in an inebriated state, police said.

"During patrolling in the area, constable Ashok Kumar spotted them. And when he questioned them, they attacked him and one of them hit Ashok on his head with a knife," said a senior police officer.

The constable sustained injuries in his head.

"The brothers have been apprehended and the knife has been recovered," he said.
