Light to moderate rain or thundershowers occurred at isolated places over east Uttar Pradesh in the last 24 hours.
According to the Met department chief amount of rainfall recorded in Khalilabad was one cm.
In its forecast for the next 24 hours, the Met department said that rain or thundershowers would occur at isolated places over east UP, whereas weather would be mainly dry over western parts of the state.
The Met department also warned that heat wave conditions are likely to prevail over south UP during the next 24 hours.
