Edible and non-edible oils rule steady in mute trade

Edible and non-edible oil prices ruled steady in an otherwise quiet Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today in the absence of any worthwhile large-scale buying activity.

The castorseeds futures rate were unavailable.

In the edible segment, Groundnut oil and refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 740 and Rs 585 per 10 kg, respectively.

Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and Linseedoil closed unaltered at Rs 3,925 per 100kg, Rs 815 and Rs 840 per 10kg, respectively.
